The Banking and Finance Oath Limited Constitution
The Banking and Finance Oath Limited is administered by its Board, comprised of industry leaders. The Constitution of the organisation provides the established mechanisms for maintaining the integrity of this initiative.
The process of review as outlined in the Constitution (Clauses 11, 12, 13 and 14) will be established to review the conduct of BFO signatories about whom complaints may have been made. Individuals whose conduct is subject to review will have a right to appeal in accordance with the principles of natural justice.
The behaviour of BFO signatories will not be actively monitored. However, if unethical behaviour or conduct outside the spirit and intent of The BFO comes to the attention of the organisation, a regulator or other respected authority, the individual signatory's conduct will be subject to review. Sanctions for proven misconduct include removal from the registry of BFO signatories.
