You are the newest (and youngest) employee to join a boutique wealth management company. The person you are replacing (Antonio) was poached by a competitor and didn’t leave a lot of time to handover.
Upon cleaning out Antonio’s desk and files, you come across a client list that looks like it was sent to him from the company he is now working at and is marked ‘strictly confidential’. The list includes client names, contract details and figures that could be beneficial to you as you build your client base in your new role, and also to your company.
What would you do?
