An employee tells you they are borrowing money to buy a new home. It will be a stretch for them but they think it will be worth it in the long run, and set their family up.

You know they are about to be made redundant. Do you say anything?

I would encourage the employee to seek their market value based on their current expenses and/or suggest they look into financial counselling however you need to be professional when providing this advice.
