"Employees under pressure": The BFO's Cris Parker at the AFR Summit

Friday 29 March, 2019
At the AFR Summit this week on a panel looking at 'The challenge of re-establishing trust' with Colin Neave AM, ANZ, Deen Sanders OAM, Deloitte, and Mike Baird, NAB, Cris Parker brought the employees of a post-Hayne era sharply in to focus, encouraging organisations not to lose sight of their most important asset.

Cris Parker, director and head of The Banking & Finance Oath, says that some employees in the financial services sector are feeling immense pressure as they transition into a new post-Hayne world to not make the same mistakes that have been made in the past.

"I spoke to someone last week who was in tears," she says.

"We need to make sure that employees are treated with dignity in this transition, because they are your best asset."
