Sam Batchelor

Through his active participation with student leadership and volunteering opportunities, Sam believes that you have to be the change you want to see in the world. He hopes that this opportunity will provide him with the framework to do so and assist in creating a financial culture that promotes a sustainable future.

Student, Sydney University

Sam is currently studying a Bachelor of Economics at the University of Sydney, majoring in Economics. In terms of extra-curricular activities, Sam has been heavily involved with St Vincent de Paul since 2014 in their youth programs as both a Leader and Coordinator, as well as being part of the Sydney Uni Young Vinnies Society Executive since 2016. He has also been a Faculty Mentor for First Year students and throughout his schooling was involved in student leadership as College Captain.

Although not certain about his career path, Sam believes that the Young Ambassador Program is a significant step in the right direction, providing a moral compass that not only his career, but the careers of those around him, can be directed by.
