By becoming a BFSO Young Ambassador, I hope to connect with leaders that embody ethics in the industry and share experiences that will broaden my knowledge and understanding through new and diverse opinions. Given the challenging year that the financial services industry has faced as a result of the pandemic, political change and the economic climate, I am eager to hear from business leaders around how we can continue to support our community and ensure that the trust remains in place. I have been fortunate enough to work in the financial services industry for over five years, across two major Banks in Australia.

When I reflect on the experience I have gained as a result of these roles, I have come to the realisation that ethics plays a crucial role in not just our workplace, but also society and it needs to be embedded in our behaviours. I believe being a BFSO Young Ambassador will provide me with a deeper understanding of ethics within the financial services industry, leading to meaningful conversations with not only my colleagues, but also my clients. My hope is to empower future generations as an advocate for The BFSO.
