As a young professional in financial services, I am very proud and honoured to be a 2022 BFSO Young Ambassador.
I took the Banking and Financial Services Oath for the first time in 2022 as I found it to be very natural and innate to me: its principles of integrity and trust are what I value both personally and professionally. With my background studying law and spending time learning within government, including the US Congress, I am conscious of the dangers of ignoring ethics. I am seeking to embed responsibility and equality into my everyday work and personal actions as I believe these values are vital in fostering a fair, predictable and secure society and achieving broader economic and social progress.
As a BFSO Young Ambassador, I hope to champion accountability and trust in the industry, meet like-minded leaders and peers and ensure ethics remains an important part of the conversation amongst young professionals.
