Elpitha is committed to contributing to a changing financial system; change that brings awareness of both individual and organisational responsibilities to our society.
Graduate, APRA
Elpitha is a graduate at APRA, in the Governance, Culture and Remuneration team. Having completed an Honours degree in Political Economy, her approach is critical of mainstream interpretations of economic and social phenomena. This critical thinking informs Elpitha's approach to her work, in undergoing risk culture reviews in financial institutions, and in the ethical questions arising in this work.
Elpitha's experiences volunteering with AIME and working in frontline at a disability service provider exposed her to a range of ethical dilemmas. These experiences opened her mind to the gap between policy and practice, between saying something and doing it, and its potential implications. Elpitha is committed to contributing to a changing financial system; change that brings awareness of both individual and organisational responsibilities to our society.
