I am proud to be a Young Ambassador with The BFSO because integrity is one of my core values, and The BFSO gives me a platform and a network to promote ethical behaviour among my peers. Being a signatory to The BFSO, I also have access to various resources to keep abreast of the latest ethical issues in the industry.
As a former internal auditor, I have seen firsthand how weak governance and fraud can destroy shareholder value and corporate reputation. As a consultant, I know that no governance framework is foolproof. The findings of the Banking Royal Commission also highlight how our industry needs to lift standards and win back the Australian community's trust more than ever.
My status as a BFSO Young Ambassador will enable me to have deep conversations with finance leaders across Australia about what needs to change.
