I'm proud to be a Young Ambassador for The BFSO because as the last year has revealed, for a banking industry to be successful, it's participants need to maintain a high level of ethical integrity. When this is shown to not be the case, the industry loses the loyalty of its customers, it loses its ability to self-regulate and it also risks losing its most ethical members to other industries as they grow weary of working in a place that doesn't align with their values.
The BFSO is an organisation that recognises the fundamental need for ethics in the banking and finance industries and is seeking to rebuild the ethical foundations of the banking industry in Australia to be stronger than ever before. I believe this is a very worthwhile cause and I feel honoured to be a part of it.
